I am tired tonight. This week has been fine. I had some ups, and some downs, but that's really a typical week in the life of a teacher. I am glad we have a three-day weekend. I will have to get some work done due to the fact I'm doing some alternative state testing with my students, but I'm okay with that. Three days without kids....I need the break.

I am in year 23 as a Special Educator at the elementary level. I did one year of Middle School last year though, and loved it! At the moment I'm at the elementary level and do like it. I also serve in the JoyKC community as a volunteer and board member. I also continue to serve at Camp Barnabas as a cabin Mom. I am enjoying this life I'm living!

I had a dog named Jay who was my best friend. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies and tv, and going to church. Finding Nemo is my favorite movie of all-time!
