Unexpected Encouragement

Tonight I logged in and saw that there was a comment from my Dad about my post yesterday. Encouragement from my parents is a blessing I have always had. I would NOT be the person I am today without them. I'm a blessed gal. I have said this a time or two over the years. *grin*

However, I don't take it for granted either. My Mom and Dad have both given positive feedback regarding the new "walk" journey I'm on. I knew they would support me in this new chapter of my life, as they've supported me every step of my life so far. *grin*

I will also state that my parents often surprise me in their words as they encourage me My Dad's note tonight made me *grin* as I read it. I have also saved notes and such on my refrigerator, and carry a bookmark around with me all the time that my Mom gave me.

Tonight my Dad sharing his experience about his training taking three years was really good. The more I try to change my walk, the more I realize how far I have to go. That's fine. Tonight God blessed me with my Dad's words.

I'm a blessed gal.
