Wow, what a difference a day makes! Today was AMAZING. *grin*
Okay, there were a few rough moments, but overall, I laughed TONS today. I am not sure how a person can be a teacher and not laugh tons everyday. The things the kids say just make me smile and laugh. It's probably one of my favorite parts of my job. *grin*
On another note, I told a student today that I liked how honest he is with me. He paused and told me that I'm the only teacher he's that comfortable with. We kept talking and I silently thanked God for the little soul he entrusted me with for this season of his life. Today's chat is one of those that will stick with me for a lifetime. *grin*

I am in year 23 as a Special Educator at the elementary level. I did one year of Middle School last year though, and loved it! At the moment I'm at the elementary level and do like it. I also serve in the JoyKC community as a volunteer and board member. I also continue to serve at Camp Barnabas as a cabin Mom. I am enjoying this life I'm living!

I had a dog named Jay who was my best friend. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies and tv, and going to church. Finding Nemo is my favorite movie of all-time! Reading is one of my FAVORITE things to do!
