I have been in a place I have never been before, and I can honestly say I'm closer to Him now than I think I ever have been, due to things that have been out of my control. I'm not going to get into what "it" is, because that's not the point of this post. The point is something the Lord has given me recently that has gripped me, in a REALLY good way. *grin*
As I've shared before, music is a tool He uses with me repeatedly to draw nearer to me, or to put my thoughts into the words I can't seem to find. One of my favorite things about Him is that He knows my thoughts before I do. While that's beyond my comprehension, it is encouraging to me in ways I cannot put into words at that moment. *giggle*
Night before last He led me to buy the Sidewalk Prophets album, "Live Like That." I did, and one of the songs has me singing it over and over again. I want to type out the words out so that maybe someone else can be encouraged. I also want to share it because I want to remember this tough place I've been in. See, I view this blog as an online life book for me, and I want to keep this song and it's impact it's made on me for years to come. *grin* By the way, I do recommend this album. They have a little bit of everything, and two other songs will probably be posted here too...all in good time though... *giggle*

I am in year 23 as a Special Educator at the elementary level. I did one year of Middle School last year though, and loved it! At the moment I'm at the elementary level and do like it.
